OUR IDENTITY
Church History
CHURCH HISTORY LIVING FAITH FOUNDATION: The origin of the Living Faith Foundation dates back to 1981/82, when a young Civil Engineer, by the name of Prince Joseph Adeolu Olaiya was posted to the old Sokoto State for the mandatory one-year National Youth Service Corp (NYSC). Having had a previous background of fire-brand evangelism in his home base in Northern Nigeria, and driven by a passion for lost souls, he believed that the only mission of the church was to WIN souls, which he demonstrated through the many crusades he organized under the auspices of the Christian Corpers Fellowship, during his tenure as president.
Nevertheless, upon the completion of his Youth Service, it was very clear that God wanted him to stay ack, by the reason of a broader vision he had received from God which gave birth to Weekly teachings and Prayer sessions that metamorphosed into the ministry known as the Living Faith Foundation today. As President and Founder of the ministry, Rev. Olaiya, a dynamic servant of God who has maintained a consistent walk with the Lord for several years, has been called to RAISE men who in turn, go out to do the supernatural for the enlargement and establishment of God’s Kingdom.
And for more than three decades, God has used him tremendously in Nigeria and around the world to minister the life-changing gospel of Jesus Christ with powerful signs and wonders and testimonies to show for it. With over 40 years of experience in the deliverance ministry and a proven track record of being led by the Spirit of God, Rev. PJA Olaiya has been able to bring his unique insights to bear, through a special program called Sorting Out, which is aimed at helping people out of their difficulties. He achieved this by developing a well-though out but simple process of capturing information and gathering data about the life and times of individuals, which is then used to identify trends and cycles about their lives, families and destinies by which targeted prayers and ministrations are made to bring about total and complete deliverance. He is happily married to Pastor Mrs. Florence Joy Adeolu Olaiya and they are blessed with children. Though the church started in Sokoto, it has spread to the different parts of the country and beyond. Presently, the Living Faith Foundation has over 100 branches in Nigeria and overseas.
